Eric Church is bringing The Outsiders Revival Tour to The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach, Alabama this summer. Lainey Wilson and Jackson Dean will open for the country music superstar during the three shows; scheduled for August 17,18 & 19, 2023. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and range from as little as $40 to more than $300. The show is part of the C Spire Concert Series, which also includes acts such as Walker Hayes, James Taylor, Kenny Chesney, Kelsea Ballerini, Jelly Roll, Sam Hunt and more at The Wharf in 2023.
Eric Church has been one of the most popular country music stars on the scene since he released his first album way back in 2006. From 2006's "Two Pink Lines" to 2022's "Doing Life With Me", Church has enough hits to fill the night several times over. Lainey Wilson is the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and plays Abby of the hit show Yellowstone. Alabama's Gulf Coast is lucky enough to have one of the hottest acts in country music currently coming back in October 2023 as well. She'll play The Wharf stage again on October 14 with Hardy and Dylan Marlowe as part of The Mockingbird & The Crow Tour. Tickets to that show are also available through Ticketmaster.
Wilson has come a long way since this writer wrote about her playing Tin Roof in St. Louis way back in 2018. I really hope she plays "Middle Finger" during one of her shows here. It's an "oldie but a goodie" as they say.
A relative newcomer to the country music party, be sure not to miss Jackson Dean's set in Orange Beach. You probably heard his hit, "Don't Come Lookin'", in Yellowstone season four. Although his music was featured on the Kevin Costner-led drama, Jackson Dean does not play Kayce Dutton. That role is played by Luke Grimes. But Grimes did release his debut country music single back in December, 2022. You following?
